Personality, like ego, is a concept invented by your mind. It doesn’t exist in the real world. Personality is a word for the general impression that you give through your words and actions. If your personality isn’t likeable today, don’t worry. You can always change it […]
10 simple ways to save yourself from messing up your life
[via]
the third (and last, i guess) part of my vacation keeps getting more difficult in it’s viability. first it’s being delayed by the evil boss person. we intended to start at the beginning of this month, then we postponed until last weekend, then until tomorrow, by now we are planning on starting next weekend, and i’m not sure if we are managing to start it at all. another problem showed up when i took Da Dog to the vet last friday, and she told me that we couldn’t take a dog to neither norway nor sweden without a blood test and some medical treatment 4 weeks(!) in advance. takes the fun out of a road trip (dog included) through norway and sweden, doesn’t it? (yes, denmark and finland were on the list as well, but since we either can’t go through sweden or can’t take Da Dog with us, reaching finland became a problem). so by now, we’re looking for either alternative routes or for someone who would take care of the dog for a while. so, if your read this, know Da cewt little Dog and feel like spending some more time with him, let’s say from next weekend and for like one or two weeks … let me know.
(almost) everyone should know by now that this would be a bad idea. for once, all the bad smell and explosions and stuff, the mess you’ll have to clean up afterwards… and the second, more recent reason: the small RFID transponder that has been recently injected into Tha Dog’s neck. we’ll just wrap him in tinfoil so he can’t be tracked…
EDIT:
(as vacation #1 i count me visiting m. in the city of the clueless)
the second part of this year’s summer vacation’s campaign “get out of this city” led me about 500 kilometres to the north, to the small big¹ city København (which happens to be the capital of Denmark). i’ve been there for about two weeks, basically without any internet access (except for the last few days), but had a great time nevertheless - spent most of my time exploring the city, abandoned buildings and other nice places. i don’t have all of the pictures yet, those are from the first few days:

¹ “small big” because although there’s only about half a million inhabitants, all the action, drama and madness of a large city are provided
