once you decided to be happy and enjoy your everyday life more, you’ll find out that lowering your expectations will serve your intention very well. take me as a perfect example: i accidently cut my hand last night (while trying to produce a slice of bread), and it wouldn’t stop bleeding for hours, so i decided to fabricate some kind of pressure bandage and put it on the gash. it hurt like hell, and i started wondering if it was possible to die of blood loss from a cut in ones finger (i disregarded that thought soon after, but i’m still not completely sure). anyway …
when i woke up today, i decided to check on the wound. it was still bleeding, but only a tiny bit (compared to the amount last night), so that normal band aid did the trick. and believe me, i was really happy about that.
